Para fans dibuat terharu ketika menyaksikan penampilan duet Katy Perry bersama seorang gadis penderita autis, Jodi DiPiazza. Bukan hanya jago menyanyi, Jodi menuai sorotan ketika ia mengiringi Katy sambil bermain piano. 

Dalam video (menit ke 3:10), Jody dan Katy membawakan lagu "Firework" dihadapan penonton di Beacon Theater, New York City, baru-baru ini. Kekasih John Mayer itu terlihat antusias ketika menyanyi bersama Jody. Dan begitu penampilan itu berakhir, Katy merangkul Jodi diiringi tepuk tangan penonton. 

Sebelum penampilan tersebut, diperlihatkan video tentang masa kecil Jody. Ini merupakan bagian dari acara penggalangan dana saluran TV kabel Comedy Central, Night of Too Many Stars, yang akan ditayangkan 21 Oktober mendatang. 

Katy mengaku sangat terkesan bisa berduet dengan Jodi. Hal ini ia ungkapkan di Twitternya, @katyperry, Jumat (19/10). "Jodi is my firework (Jodi adalah cahayaku)," ungkap Katy sambil mengunggah link video duetnya dengan Jodi.
